Hey everyone,

I realise I'm about a week late to share the news, but I'm delighted to say that the renowned American brand Wet N' Wild has hit Irish shores! I think it's brilliant that brands are coming to Ireland- first Sleek, now Wt N' Wild. As soon as I seen the countless tweets, I rushed out to get a few items. Although most of the lipsticks were gone [you know how much I love my lipsticks- sigh], I did pick up a few items that were well required. Seeing as I've only had these less than a week, I thought I'd write about my first impressions rather than a full on review on each item.

Megasticks Balm Stain in shade E127 'A Stiff Pink'- €3.99
Ok, I'm going to be completely honest here- I've never tried a chubby stick/lip crayon. I've just never really felt like I had to, and lipsticks will always be my main love. I was intrigued as this promises to be a moisturising balm and a lip stain! I've only used this twice; once on my lips, once to watch on my arm. The swatch on my arm took endless scrubbing to come off, proving the stain really does last. When applied on my lips, I was a bit irritated that it doesnt really come out the shade it looks. As you can see in the photo above, it looks like a bright baby pink, however applied it looks more fuschia. I'll give it another few go's before making a decision!

Wild Shine Nail Colour in E417F 'Eggplant Frost' & E414A 'Red Red'- €1.99
I've been in need of a new red and purple polish lately, and these two caught my eye. Eggplant Frost is a beautiful shimmery purple, and Red Red is definitely a blue based red. I have yet to wear these on my nails, but I did swatch them on some false nails, and the colour pay off looks amazing! For €1.99, I doubt you can go wrong.

Megaclear Brow & Lash Mascara
As I've mentioned recently, since changing my fringe up my eyebrows are on show, so I've been making more of an effort with them to make them look more respectable. I watched a few youtube videos, and it seems alot of beauty gurus recommend using a brow gel. I can't remember the price of this one, but it was definitely cheap! I've been using this all week and I love it already- it keeps my brows in place, without leaving them feeling 'crispy'. Bargain!

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed so far, and I will definitely be heading back for more. Wet N' Wild cosmetics are stocked in Dunnes Stores throughout the country.

Hey everyone,

It's no lie that I loves new skincare products- I enjoy trying new things out and finding out what works [and what doesn't] for my skin. I have combination skin [i.e my t zone are gets quite oily] however recently I've found it's been oilier than usual- damn the Irish weather! I've been using a combination of products to tackle this problem, and the products photographed above are the ones I've been loving.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil*;
I know what you're thinking; using oil on an oil face? Surely that can't work? Strangely enough, it does. I don't really know alot of the scientific facts behind it, but this is a real treat every couple of days. You simply pump some into your hand, rub it all over your face, emulsify with water and wash off. It's so simple, but thoroughly cleanses your skin. It has a lovely scent and a little goes a long way. Better yet, it's for all skin types!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar K*;
I've used a few small samples of La Roche-Posay products, so I was intrigued to use this when it arrived on my doorstep just before Christmas. To be quite honest, I had to google what exactly it was- I thought it was some sort of serum because of the packaging, but it's actually a moisturiser! The Effaclar range is designed to treat problem skin, and has been quite a hit on the internet. Effaclar K promises to stop blemishes from returning, and it really does just that! I like to apply this at night, as I always wake up with a nice matte complexion when I do. It evens out the skin, and it's also paraben free, meaning there's no nasty chemicals. I love the squeezy tube as it means I'll be able to get every last drop out. The only thing I don't particularly like about this product is the strong smell- it's very flowery, but you get used to it.

Cleanse Off Mitt*;
When I read on Twitter about the Cleanse Off Mitt, I was definitely intrigued. It's been compared alot to the Nima mitt, which I hadn't tried, but for a cheaper price- only €5! Cleanse Off Mitt is an Irish product designed to remove all traces of makeup with just water- crazy, right? I was quite doubtful, in all honesty, but it really did take off my makeup, including mascara. It's super soft too, no hard fibres to felt at all. To clean it, you simple wash it under hot water or put it int he washing machine. This product has just launched and apparently, it's sold out! You can find it in selected Irish pharmacies and online here. They're trying to spread the word of #campaignbinthewipes which I think is brilliant, as face wipes can be so bad for your skin!

Hey everyone,
First things first; I changed my fringe again. It's no big deal really, after a week of the other style I felt it wasn't suited to me. I'm sticking with a thinned out, feathery fringe for now, and I'm feeling alot better about myself now! However, my eyebrows are now on show so some effort is going to have to be made..
Moving on, I'd been lusting over a pair of 'mom' jeans before I picked these up for a mere €17 in Penneys/Primark! I absolutely love them- they're comfortable, and have a sort of 90's edge to them. I decided to go all out and attempt the double denim look for an all out 80's/90's outfit- does it work? Strangely enough, I'm liking it! In all honesty, I've never been much of a denim wearer, but I fell in love with this leather & denim cropped jacket. Knowing me, my thoughts will probably change by next Tuesday!

Hey everyone,
It's no lie that Elie Saab is one of my favorite designers. Back when my blog was an innocent young child, I wrote a not-so-good piece on his 2013 collection [however, this is post is nowhere to be found.. luckily]. The princess inside me dies a little inside every time he releases a new couture collection, and this season was no exception.
I always like to think if I was to walk down the red carpet next week, a Saab dress is what I'd be wearing. I'm not sure if its the diamonds that make me die a little inside, or maybe the flowing material and vivid colours. One thing's for sure- he never fails to disappoint me. Something that's a reoccurring feature on an Elie Saab catwalk is the transition of different colours. Almost each collection starts off with one shade, and slowly but surely moves onto another. Each colour group contains numerous different dresses in different shapes and sizes. Although alot of them are similar, no two [in my eyes anyways!] are the same. This year, pastel pinks, metallic golds, sapphire blues and black were among the collection. Does it sound like it could work? Possibly not. But it does.
Here are some of my favorites;
images all from style.com
The off-white number on the left is not typically something I'd choose, I honestly can't even remember a time when I wore all white! But this dress is breath taking. It's almost a very pale, very pastel shade of lilac, if you look close enough. The floral applique is truly stunning. The cerulean blue dress is probably my favorite of the lot. I adore the sheer fabric at the bottom, and the off the shoulder effect adds a hint of sexiness to an otherwise glamorous dress. The black & rainbow dress is quite different from the rest of the dresses  in the collection, which is why I like it. There's just something about it that catches my eye- it reminds me of marshmallows and paint and dark fairytales. The black number is also beautiful too. Again, flowers, jewels and sheer fabric are present, but I love the faded grey and white at the bottom.
The detail is so intricate overall, and the collection itself is breathtaking in my eyes. Thumbs up from me, Mr. Saab!
What do you think of this collection debuted in Paris a few days ago? Ar you a fan of the man himself?

Hey everyone,

If you follow my twitter or like my facebook page [and if you don't- well get crackin'!] you might have seen me post about my new online shop called RCouture Nails. I'm delighted to announce that I will be selling hand painted false nails created by me for reasonable prices. Although I was previously going to sell on tictail, I'm thinking I might start out on facebook first instead. You can check them out and purchase them on my facebook page here! All nails come with glue and spares, just in case! It's super easy to order- simply email me your choice of nails, a picture of your nails and I'll send you an invoice via paypal. Anyways, it's all on my facebook page if you want more details, plus under a special dedicated tab on my blog.

Enough shameless advertising- on to my nails! The studded nails in this image are the only fake nails on my hands, but I am in LOVE with these studs! I think the combination of lilac and black is quite elegant.

apologies for the slightly blurry images, ran out of camera batteries!

You can buy a set of these nails here, or a set of all studded ones!

Will you be trying out RCouture Nails?

Hey everyone,
Before I get started, I'd like to clarify that it takes alot for me to repurchase a product. With so many new products being released, I tend to opt for a newer choice rather than using the same item again. Typical blogger style! However, I loved many things about this product, so when I received €6.50 off No7 skincare in Boots, there was only one item I even considered buying- this!

Prior to buying this around August last year, I had never used anything by No7 before. I always sort of associated with them with older women. I was definitely proven wrong when I had a browse through their wide selection of products, catering for all skin types. I was in need of a new toner and this was the first one I saw. After that, I fell in love! I despise toners that leave the skin feeling tight, and smell like alcohol. I know alot of people believe that toner isn't necessary, however with combination [oily at its worse] skin I feel there's nothing better than a swipe of toner to leave the skin feeling fresh and balanced.

This toner in particular no scent- nothing too strong or perfumed. it leaves your skin feeling soft, fresh and toned of course! Although on further inspection it says for normal/dry skin on the Boots website, I've had no problem using this after my cleanser. The 200ml lasted me like 4 months, and although its €10.50 usually, with a €6.50 its only €4! I always wait for those vouchers to become available in boots when buying No7 products, so I suggest you too if you want a bargain.
