I had originally planned to shoot a lookbook for New Years Eve, but alas, time was against me as usual. Instead, I've put together collection of some of my favourite NYE inspired outfits, as well as some makeup tutorials to complete your look! I'm a huge fan of sequins all year round, but New Years is definitely the time of year to break out your favourite glitzy piece. I'm not entirely sure why, but lately I've been loving that minimal, thrown-together look. Basic pieces, lots of grey and black and layering- I love it all! This Autumn I'll be trying to incorporate a bit of minimalism into my look by purchasing pieces that can be reworn in Winter too. Shop my favourites below...

In other news, my laptop is being extremely uncooperative lately hence the lack of posting.. Not only that, but you may have seen on Instagram that I received my exam results last week, and to say I'm delighted would be an understatement. I exceeded my own expectations and got 75 points more than what I need for my course!

Hey everyone,

It's not only been a while since my last pinspiration post, but it's been a while since I've posted in general! It makes me sad that I barely have time to post once a week these days. I can't wait to get all these exams over with so I can just be free- free to write, free to create and free to live. Even when I d have time lately and I take a break from studying or homework, I'm too tired to think straight or sit down and blog. Not only that, but I just got over a chest infection last week, and I'm already sick again with a cold! To lift my spirits, I've been lusting over a boho lifestyle on pinterest lately. From listening to Fleetwood Mac on repeat, to spending endless nights looking for the perfect suede skirt, it's safe to say I'm loving the 70s trend lately. Hey everyone,

I've been starting to use (and love!) Pinterest a lot lately, and I deleted a lot of my old boards so I could start a fresh. Pinterest is perfect for gaining inspiration- hence the title of this new little segment here on my blog. Each 'pinspiration' post(that's Pinterest inspiration, fyi) shall have a different theme or colour scheme. This week, I've been loving floral, exotic editorials and bold prints. Think Dolce & Gabbana meets Club Tropicana.
