A couple of months ago I did a favour for a photographer friend of mine, Katie O' Neill, for a competition she was entering in association with Dublin Fashion Festival. I'm no model, but I thought it would be nice to share the photos with you all anyway, as Katie managed to make the final 5! I remember being absolutely freezing but it was a fun little project to take part in and Katie's photos are absolutely beautiful. You can check out more of her work on Instagram here!

Over the past few months, I've stopped buying little bits of cheap makeup here and there, and started investing in some products I know will last and serve me well. One of the brands that I've accumulated a lot of products from is Urban Decay. I actually got my makeup done for my debs at the UD counter in Debenhams in Blanchardstown, and ever since then, I've become obsessed! I left it a bit late to book my makeup and was a bit nervous about getting it done with a brand I hadn't really used before (apart from the Naked palette), but the experience converted me to an UD superfan. Here are my top 5 products from the brand!

l-r; naked eyeshadow palette, naked skin foundation, perversion mascara, 24/7 glide-on lip pencil, all nighter setting spray

1. The Naked palette
The renowned eyeshadow place holds a place in many a makeup lover's beauty bag- including mine. I got mine for Christmas two years ago and I still have so much product left! The colours, the pigmentation... it really is worth the money and the hype. I also own Naked 3 and I really want to invest in one of the Naked basics palettes too!

2. 24/7 Glide-On lip pencil*
Berry and nude shades are my most worn lip colours, and this lip pencil is the latest addition to my collection. Although I have yet to wear it for 24 hours, it really does have a great staying power. I have the shade '1993' which is a brown-nude colour- very Kylie Jenner-esque!

3. Perversion mascara
I got this mascara on the day of my debs makeover, and I haven't touched another mascara since. This little beauty works wonders at lengthening lashes, whilst also making them thick. It can get a little clumpy but it all depends on how much product you use. I'll definitely be repurchasing!
4. All Nighter setting spray
This has fast become one of my favourite beauty products of all time. You simply spray this all over your face, and your makeup doesn't budge- no lie! I always use this on nights out and for long days at work, as it really does keep your makeup in place for hours.

5. Naked Skin foundation
I'm extremely picky with foundations and find it really hard to find one that I actually love. This one was recommended to me by a friend, and after some slight hesitation, I decided to buy it. I don't regret this purchase one bit- I've never received as many compliments on my skin than I have since I started using this foundation. It's so light but very build-able, which is what I love most in a foundation. Their shade range also includes some pale shades- I use the second lightest one in case anyone's wondering!

Dublin- forever one of my favourite cities. Ok, so the public transport system isn't the best, and the amount of drug addicts visible on the streets is slightly horrific, but it's a city that I've spent a lot of my 17 years in. I should point out that I don't actually live in Dublin, but I'm close enough that I'm able to commute every day for university and my job. The sad thing is, I'm not sure if I can see myself living in Dublin in 10 years time. Maybe it's because I love travelling, maybe it's because there aren't as many oppurtunities in the fashion industry here. Maybe it's a bit of both. Regardless of where I may find myself living in the years to come, Dublin will always hold a special place in my heart.

This look is the perfect example of my every day college style. Comfortable shoes, a huge handbag to hold all my essentials and a scarf for the ever changing weather. These mermaid-esque Aldo runners are the new loves of my life- they look even better in person!
