Hey everyone,

This outfit is quite 90's inspired but I've recently been loving Kylie Jenner's style so this outfit definitely brings her vibe into it too. I wanted to be comfortable going shopping without having to bring a jacket, so simply threw this shirt around my waist! My trusty mom jeans are from Penneys and I picked up the adorable scrunchie in a vintage shop.

I've been feeling quite motivated with my blog lately and for once I'm truly happy with the content. It's amazing to see my little blog grow. Perhaps its the Summer air that's bringing all this creativity to me, or maybe it's because I'm finally free from school. Either way, I'm hoping this motivation lasts throughout the Summer!

Hey everyone,

Now that festival season has begun, I've been browsing Pinterest & Instagram for quirky nail art that would really stand out. I came to realise that the half moon nail trend is still going strong, so I decided to create this look. Glitter polish like this holographic polish is perfect for festivals as it lasts quite long! I'm heading to the Saturday of Longitude in July and I can't wait! I'll definitely be recreating this look for the day.

Tutorial;
1. Paint your nails with two coats of silver
2. Using a white nail art pen draw a half moon at the base of your nail and fill it in
3. Taking a dotting tool, swirl your green and blue polish together and paint it in the white as the iris
4. Finally, use your black nail art pen to outline the eye and to dot in the pupil.

Materials used;
clockwise l-r; NYC quick dry polish in 'water street blue, Barry M gelly polish in 'greenberry', white nail art pen, Nails Inc special effects polish 'westbourne park', black nail art pen

Hey everyone,

Wow, the weather here has been beautiful lately! My friends and I took full advantage of the sunny spells and headed out to the seaside for a day. We dipped our feet in the sea, ate delicious food in the park and walked the prom with an icecream. It was a truly lovely day out, and I'm glad I got to snap a few outfit photos whilst there. My usual photographer, my sister Sarah, is back home recovering from her first operation, so my friend Aoife took these for me. Thanks Aoife!

I picked up this pleated skirt at the Jack & Jill event last week, and paired it with a straw hat for a very 1950s look. I get sunburned easily so I like to keep my shoulders covered in the hot weather.

Hey everyone,

Hey everyone,

I'm a bit of a lipstick junkie, and the first thing I head for on a makeup stand is always the lipsticks. I'm beginning to run out of space to put them! My shades of choice tend to differ with the seasons, and I usually go for brighter, more fun tones in Summer. I've listed below 5 of my favorite lipsticks for this season, from high street to high end and pink to red!

1. MAC Cremesheen lipstick 'Speed Dial'
I wrote a full review on this beauty here but in short, it's a cremesheen lipstick meaning it's very creamy & glossy. I find it's very sheer, but luckily very buildable! It's a lovely petal pink lipstick that's super moisturising on the lips. Speed Dial is also very natural so good for every day wear. €19

2. Gosh Velvet Touch lipstick '151 Lady Luck'*
I was sent this lipstick a while ago, although I admit I've only started using it as of late. The formula is super similar to the MAC cremesheen lipsticks, which is a bonus. 'Lady Luck' is a peachy coral shade with the smallest amount of shimmer. I can imagine this would look amazing on those graced with tanned skin, but it also looks great on fair skin! €10.99

3. Wet N' Wild MegaLast lip colour 'Mauve Outta Here'
'Mauve Outta Here' is one of my favorite shades, and the Wet N' Wild MegaLast lipsticks are brilliant! They have a matte finish but aren't too drying, and last for hours. Not only that, but they're at a bargain price too- score! 'Mauve Outta Here' is a blue toned pink, meaning it's borderline purple. €2.99

4. Wet N' Wild MegaLast lip colour 'Coral-ine'
Yet another Wet N'Wild lipstick, but yet another beautiful colour. Coral-ine isn't really too coral in my opinion, but more of an orange toned red. Like 'mauve outta here', it has amazing longevity and is also pretty moisturising for a matte lipstick. I can't wait to try more shades from this range! I recommend matte lipsticks in Summer because they won't melt straight off. €2.99

5. Sephora Cream Lip Stain '01 Always Red'
My nana brought this home for me from Canada, and at first I was a bit doubtful as I'd never tried a liquid lipstick before! After trying this out, I'm hooked. It's extremely matte and can be a bit dry, but it lasts for hours even throughout eating and drinking. This classic red is perfect for those Summer nights, or the days when you want your lipstick to last in the strong heat! $13

The website is so easy to use! First, you have to sign up and make an account. To order food, you simply type in your location, and a list of participating takeaways and restaurants in your area come up. You can browse the menu's in detail, and add your dishes to your cart like you would with online shopping. 
Perhaps it was just the restaurant I ordered from, but the food appeared to arrive quicker than usual, which was an added bonus!

I was recently invited by the Jack & Jill Foundation to their charity boutique in Newbridge as a guest speaker at the launch of their loyalty card.  Hey everyone,

My grandmother recently went to Canada and she came back with this polish from Sephora as a gift. I've only ever tried 2 Nails Inc polishes before, and I really liked them! I was super excited to give this gel effect version a go, as I love the Barry M Gelly polishes. I received the shade 'lexington gardens' which is a lovely lavender shade- perfect for Summer!

The polish has a really nice consistency- neither too thick or too thin, and the brush is a decent size. I adore the packaging, as it looks very sleek, but it can be quite awkward when holding the rectangle brush in your hand! It applied very opaque, and I went with two coats for maximum longevity. I've had this polish on for 3 days now, and other than some minimal chipping at the top of my nails they're still in perfect condition!

Price wise, it is a bit steep at €18 but it's definitely worth it. If you're working in a job that requires using your hands a lot, or it you want long lasting nails, then this polish is definitely for you! As you can see from the images, my nails extremely shiny- the look of a Gel manicure without the full commitment

Review: Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish 'Lexington Gardens'

My grandmother recently went to Canada and she came back with this polish from Sephora as a gift. I've only ever tried 2 Nails Inc polishes before, and I really liked them! After a quick stay down to my grans a few days ago, I'm feel quite refreshed and inspired. It's nice to get out of town for a change of scenery! Next week is going to be quite hectic for different reasons, so I'm taking it easy at the moment. I bought this beautiful skirt in Topshop on sale for €10, and I adore it.  Flowy, printed skirts are becoming a firm favourite of mine. They just sit lovely on my body and are super cooling and comfortable too!
