Hey everyone,
For those of you who mighn't recognise the title of this post, it's a mock of 'Rosie the riveter', the symbol associated with feminism during world war 2. The reason I've named my post after it, is because of the hair! The 'we can do it' symbol features a woman with a strong fist, and a red handkerchief wrapped around her hair. I decided to pay homage to Rosie by trying out the hairstyle. The leopard print dress mixed with the leather gives a very rockabilly look, don't you think? I love getting inspiration from the past- I'd say I was born in the wrong era, but in all honesty, I can't decide what era I belong to! I'm forever lusting after the clothes from the 50's, the 90's, the 20's, the late 1800's.
In other news, my first writing-for-a-newspaper experience went rather well. My article about the local St. Patrick's Day parade is being published in the local newspaper tomorrow, and I can't wait to see my name in print!

This outfit is pretty awesome. I like the way the headscarf and leopard print dress complement each other.
