I love coats. In fact, if I had to choose a favourite piece of clothing, I'd choose the winter coat. But the problem is, as soon as Winter comes around, I find it hard to commit to a new one. Not because of the price (although I'll admit that is a factor) but because there are so many different styles and colours to choose from. Will I go for a trusty cocoon one in dusty pink? Or stick with a monochrome palette this season?
Somehow, winter coat buying became a little too overwhelming this season- so I ended up not buying a new one at all. That's right, 2015's Winter coat was 2014's one too. After much deliberation, I ended up purchasing a sensible, rain-proof jacket with an actual hood on it for college. I think it's time to start planning my Spring coat purchase- I'm not sure last year's pink blazer will withstand this freezing weather!
