Sally Hansen Hard As Nails base coat
Hairspray Lavender
NYC Expert Last Nail Polish
Esseece Special Effects topper [Viva Las Vegas]

Excuse my horrific looking hands, burnt BOTH my hands cooking in home economics today (ouch!). This look is so simple yet effective. The pastel lavender is bang on trend too! As much as I love this polish by Hairspray, it seems to chip within a few days - not very impressive, but I just love the shade too much. The NYC topcoat is very light, which is why I added the Essence one too for that extra sparkle.

Bonjour Bloggers!
I empathize that my most recent posts have all been outfit of the days, so I decided to vary things a bit and post a beauty product review.
One of my go-to products int he morning is this Nivea Daily Essentials Oil Free moisturizer I absolutely love it! I use it every morning before applying my foundation. The type I use is for oily & combination skin, as my skin varies from time to time between the too, depending on the time of year! As soon as its applied I can feel the transformation. Not only does my skin feel silky and supple, but it also leaves my skin oil-free as promised. Having oily skin can be a pain sometimes, especially when applying foundation, it just slides right off- but this little life-saver has utterly made a difference to my skin.
At only €8.99 in Boots, it is a complete bargain that you cannot falter with! It really does show that high street products are just as good as expensive ones. I'm already on my second tube! My first one lasted me for the duration of September on wards. A little goes along way, but I often use it at night going to bed too.

Hey everyone!
I am so excited to be writing this- on Friday I went to the Safe Haven book signing and movie premiere! Attending were Julianne Hough, Josh Duhamel [*swoon*] and Nicholas Sparks - yes, THE author of The Notebook, The Last Song, Dear John and many more! I actually won the tickets to the premiere but stumbled upon the book singing by chance. I immediately bought the book, not wanting to miss out on the chance to meet the handsome Josh Duhamel! I got my picture taken with him, nearly died! Julianne was a lovely women, and Nicholas said he liked my hat- lets just say I was BEYOND chuffed with myself for wearing that hat. At the premiere, Josh did the harlem shake in the middle of the cinema- the movie itself was amazing! I cried so much, definitely wasn't expecting what happened to happen.. But I'll let you all find out for yourself!

Bonjour bloggers!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I just went back to school after midterm and it's taking me a while to get back into routine! As I said in my last post, it was my birthday last week so I went shopping of course! I bought this stunning loosely knitted aqua blue sweater. I love the detail at the bottom and it's so comfortable, not itchy at all. I wore a mint top underneath it [it's see-through obviously, and it was freezing out!] and I paired it with my new black jeggings. I love these jeggings because the material itself is more 'jeans' then 'leggings', so really they're just skinny jeans! I decided to set the look with a contrasting fuchsia bag and neon green necklace. The bag is so versatile, you can fix the straps so the bag is long or short. I will most definitely be going out to buy this jumper in another colour, I think I'm in love...

Hey everyone! I went shopping today, and to be honest I haven't had the chance to dress up because of exams etc. So I used today as an excuse! Haven't worn my shorts in AGES, and maybe I'm a little crazy to be wearing a pair so early into Spring! In all fairness, the weather was quite mild today, so that was good.
We went into Dublin [we being me, my mum and my 11 year old sister, who I must throw out a mention to- she took the picture above!] as I wanted to by some new makeup. However, after buying some bits and bobs, we found this GORGEOUS market on Thomas St! It was called 'Ferocious Marcade- a bohemian indoor market' and ohmygod it was UHmazing. There was so many quirky stalls and cafés inside. I found this lovely vintage felt hat that I really want to save up for *sigh*
If you're in Dublin some time, you should definitely check it out!
Anyways, below are some more pics of my purchases, the marcade and my makeup.

Hey everyone!
I absolutely LOVE skirts, and Spring/Summer is definitely the season to wear them. Although this is a simple black skirt, I love it to pieces as you can dress it up or down, day or night. I bought it in Catch before Christmas, and you may have seen me wear it a few of my OOTDs. It is a bit big on me, I bought size 8-10, but it does have come with a belt. It's probably something in my wardrobe I wear the most these days!
Look out for Look 2 & 3 using the skirt over the next few days!

OBSESSED with everything that could possible clarify as 'vintage' lately. Seriously. Ive been trying to recreate looks, spending hours on Pinterest oogling glamour girls from the nifty fifties and dont even get me started on Mr.Selfridge on tv.. I cant get enough!
Some where along this hype I decided to paint some vintage-esque floral print nails.
I used;
• lavender and coral nail polish
• pink, white and green nail art pens
• sally hensen base coat
You need a steady hand for this and patience! Paint your nails starting with the lavender on the thumb then alternating colours as you go. Put various similar sized white dots on the coral nails. On the lavender, paint a few oddly shaped (yes, I did just say oddly, they are flowers, no need for perfection!) and two green leaves out of each flower. There's a few tutorials on youtube if you search 'vintage nails' (I'm currently posting on my iTouch, supposed to be studying).
+ on to the second matter..
I was wondering what you readers think of my blog URL and name. Does it stick in your head? Easy to find? Easy to remember? I'm thinking of changing it but
only if people think it would be a good idea! I've noticed alot of popular blogs have names such as Thunder & Treads, Cashmere & Cupcakes. Not entirely sure what my ideas are but maybe..
• Leather and Lemonade
• Leather and Lace
• Vintage and Vuitton
• Velvet and Versace
.. or a mixture of any of the above. Iliteration seems to be key! Thoughts? Opinions? Advice?
