YSL Travel Palette Review ft. itsfabuless.com!

11.13.2014

Hey everyone,

The Jack & Jill Foundation have teamed up with itsfabuless.com recently, and they were kind enough to send me out this beautiful Yves Saint Laurent travel palette* to try out! The Jack and Jill foundation provide direct funding to families of children with brain damage, so it's all for brilliant cause. itsfabuless.com sell high quality items for bargain products- what more could you want?

The palette itself is extremely pretty, and the leather compact case is not only really practical, but also very luxurious! It comes with four eye shadows, two lip colours and a gorgeous dusty-pink blush. The blusher has been one of my most used products lately- I love how subtle and natural looking it is. I haven't used the lip colours that much yet, but I have swatched them, and they're both very opaque and smooth! My least favourite thing about this palette has unfortunately got to be the shadows- they're surprisingly quite chalky and not pigmented at all. For such a high end brand, I was expecting alot more from the eye shadow quality, but the rest of the product almost makes up for it!

Overall, this palette is super handy for being on the go, but the eye shadows do let it down. I highly recommend itsfabuless.com however, as they have some amazing beauty bargains and great prices! You can buy this YSL palette* here for €40.

Have you tried any YSL beauty bits?
