Hey everyone,
For our second day in Barcelona, we decided to head away from the city and towards Montserrat, which was about an hour away. To get to the popular monastery in Montserrat, you had to get a cable car 4'000 feet high up into the mountains, so that was pretty exciting! The monastery itself was beautiful- I'll admit, I am not a religious person whatsoever. Although I was raised as a Catholic ( a very, very relaxed one at that) I see myself more as agnostic. That said, I love art, stained glass and church buildings, so the trip was still worthwhile! The monastery is most famous for the 'black Madonna', the statue of Mary that survived a fire in the monastery years ago (apparently!), hence it's dark colour and name.
I wore my amazing eye-printed jumpsuit from Lavish Alice* , but because it was quite chilly being uphill, I paired it with a casual white tee and my kimono. Nothing too extravagant here!
What I Wore;
Jumpsuit- Lavish Alice*
T-shirt & kimono- Penneys/Primark
Shoes- New Look
Bag- vintage
Snaps from the trip;
