SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE! I am so glad to be finished exams, and I can;t wait to share some new ideas on my blog. A blog makeover, new segments, maybe some videos.. So exciting! I'm off to Spain on July 5th [so lots of outfit posts.. watch this space] and work experience at KISS magazine in August. I can;t wait!
Moving on, as you can see from the title, this post is basically a few things I've found on ebay.ie and items I'm lusting over. I'm actually quite an eBay addict and love finding new bargains! Hope you like it :)

Again, just a few quick posts as exams start on Wednesday and I've been so busy! I decided to brighten up my mood a bit and get into the summer hype by taking on the tropical trend on my nails. Enjoy!

I'm not going to write a review of this product because I've already written one on a similar Essie product, 'bikini so teeny', here. The quality is the same- minimal chipping [apart from the parts I smudged myself, visible above] and an outstanding, bright colour. I am in love with this shade! Quite frankly, I am not a lover of the colour orange nor orange nail polish, but there's something about this shade that puts me in a good mood. It goes well with my skin tone, and it's so bright that it stands out! I got lots of compliments wearing it. I bought this little beauty on fragrancedirect.co.uk, where they sell Essie polishes for as little as €2.50!

I'm not going to write a review of this product because I've already written one on a similar Essie product, 'bikini so teeny', here. The quality is the same- minimal chipping [apart from the parts I smudged myself, visible above] and an outstanding, bright colour. I am in love with this shade! Quite frankly, I am not a lover of the colour orange nor orange nail polish, but there's something about this shade that puts me in a good mood. Its easy to say I was delighted when I seen that Essie polishes were going for as little as €2.99 on fragrancedirect.co.uk! I already own one, a silver colour, so I chose this gorgeous cornflower blue and also a bright orange. I found the polish quite opaque, so I applied 2 coats- but as you can see from the pictures above, perhaps a third coat would of been needed. I've had quite a bit of chipping since applying it about 4 days ago, but that's understandable! I love how matte and shiny it is. I decided to throw in a bit of the polka dot bikini look and painted little white dots on my nails. This is super easy, using a dotting tool, or even the tip of a bobby pin.
I hope you like this post, let me know if you try the dotted look out!

Essie silver chrome
Kiss nail art pen in black
Steps;
1. Paint your nails silvers- this is the easy part!
2. Starting at the left hand corner of your nails, paint a diagonal stripe with the pink and fill it in- so half of your nails are now pink [but at a diagonal]
3. Grab your black nail art pen. If you don't have one, just take normal black polish and use an old eyeliner brush instead! Paint a black line separating the silver and pink.
Easy as 1-2-3!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far. To be brutally honest, I can't wait for the week to be over! Just feeling quite run down and tired lately, and my dog has been ill. Luckily I have blogging to cheer me up!
