Hey everyone,
I was recently contacted by jasperjewellery.com to try out some of their latest Swarovski Crystal pieces. As you can imagine, I was super excited- Swarovski represents all things glitz and glamour, which is exactly what I love! Jasper Jewellery are an online Irish store that stock unique, beautiful, high quality and classy jewellery at everyday prices. They offer free delivery worldwide. Each item comes presented and gift wrapped for free, just like in the photo above!
From the moment I received the package, I was in love. How cute is the candy striped packaging and ribbon [along with some love hearts]? I think perhaps it would of been a nice touch to have the name of the store imprinted inside the box itself- just so you'd always remember where you bought it! When I opened the boxes, I was definitely head over heels. I was given two pieces that I chose myself- a stunning, sapphire blue diamond surrounded by clustered smaller diamonds on a silver chain, and also a beautiful gold, antique-looking pendant with a silver crystal.
As you can see, this two necklaces sit beautifully on my neck. They are, without a doubt, very eye catching, timeless pieces that are so wearable and glamorous. I am very impressed with the quality of the chains and Swarvoski crystals themselves. I would highly recommend Jasper Jewellery- free worldwide shipping, free gift wrapping, and elegant, exquisite jewellery, I couldn't ask for better!
I can't wait to get styling these pendants, and I already have an outfit post coming up soon with one of them!
Will you be buying from Jasper Jewellery?

Hey everyone,
Just a quick post as it's late Tuesday night, and the Great British Bake Off is about to start. Yes, the bake off is the highlight of my day. No, I have nothing better to do [except blog!]. School seems to be dragging on these days. Sigh. Luckily, I have these shoes to lust after and keep me motivated! If I could have 6 pairs of shoes this Autumn/Winter, it would DEFINITELY be these. I only own one pair of Dr. Martens, and these floral ones are so cute yet edgy. The JC Coltranes have made yet another return to my wishlists.. sorry guys! But just look at how beautiful they are. I need a pair in my life! These fab red velvet platforms are also by Jeffrey Campbell. I found them on motelrocks.com [get a 15% discount with the code 'ohheythererachel' at checkout btw!] however when I looked today they were all sold out. I'm in desperate need of a pair of black ankle boots- these studded ones from Topshop caught my eye as they look so comfortable. Now for a pair of non-black shoes- some white strappy heels from Zara. Although they're not something that I could see myself wearing daily, they do look so elegant and sophisticated. Last but not least, I've been longing for a pair of platform casual shoes for a while now. These ones from Schuh are top of my list!

Hey everyone!
You might notice that my blog posts are fewer these days than over the Summer. Unfortunately, school calls. Sigh. Anyways, this nail art idea actually came to me whilst doing my homework. I have this fabulous glasses case from Cath Kidston- you know, the usual cutesy floral design! Burgundy is a colour that's definitely going to be big again this Autumn Winter, and I couldn't help but paint my nails burgundy and blue. Perhaps, not the most typical colour combination, but I adore this look!
I'm still considering making nail art tutorial posts or videos. What would you prefer? Although photo tutorials would be easy, I'm open to your suggestions.
Products used; Essie bikini so teeny, Barry M gelly nail polish in pomegrante, nail art pen from Hairspray
Would you mix pastels and dark colours? Will you be trying out this on your nails?

It feels like quite some time since I've written a review. I've been a tad busy with school lately, and I find hat reviews can be a bit tedious to write when I'm tired! Current state of mind= listening to old Lily Allen songs, and eating vanilla ice-cream on bed. Sure what else do us teenagers do?
Right, back to the review! I received* this serum at the official launch in Dublin weeks ago, which you can read about here, but I wanted to give it a proper try before writing this review. First things first- I have never actually owned anything by Vichy before this! Well, I've had the few samples, but not full size products. I've also actually never used a serum. Before attending the launch, I always presumed that that serums were typically for older skin. But I was wrong!
The Vichy Idealia Life Serum is a "skin idealizer", that claims an "even and illuminated complexion, refined looking pores and rested facial features". It's suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, and better yet- ITS PARABEN FREE! For those of you who don't know what parabens are- they're specific nasty things are in most skincare products, and most of the time cause no harm. MOST of the time. The serum smells absolutely heavenly. I realise that scent means nothing but I can't help it! Roses and jasmine are the first things I think of. Its pearly white in colour, with tiny bits of shimmer inside, and its very easy to apply to the face. Iadore the packaging too- pink holographic, what more could a girl want?
The serum itself has most definitely changed my skin over the past few weeks. It states to help skin within 8 days, which I think is a tad far fetched! I applied it one in the morning, once in the night. My skin looks brighter, less tired and definitely alot smoother. Although I can't say if it helps with ageing ~ I am only 15..~ my mum also tried it out, and she loved it too!
You can read more about the serum here. Will you be trying it?

Hey everyone!
Before I get started, I have some exciting news for you guys! I've been shortlisted for Best Youth Blog in the Blog Awards Ireland! This is a huge milestone for me, especially since I've only been blogging a year. I've got some tough competition, so fingers crossed I make the shortlist. Congratulations to everyone else who was shortlisted, it was great to see some of my favorite bloggers among the different categories.
I also received my Junior Cert results on Wednesday. To anyone that doesn't know, the Junior Cert is the first set of state exams we take here in Ireland. I was thrilled with my results! 5As, 6Bs, all honours/at higher level. It was so nice to see that my hard work paid off! I was delighted with my A in English especially, seeing as it is my favorite subject! I received my first Pandora charm as a gift from my parents [seen below, the bracelet was a gift from my friend for helping at the wedding!]
Ok, now back on track- my outfit! I wore this outfit to the cinema last night. Myself and my friends went to see "White House Down" [which was brilliant in my my opinion, definitely kept me on my toes- and you can't say no to a bit of Channing Tatum either..] Can you believe that my mam picked this top up for me in Penneys for a mere €1?! I love the simplicity of it, adorned with a leather rim around the neckline. Paired with, of course, my trusty leather panelled leggings to compliment it. The shoes are a newbie to my blog, although I've had them for a while. Lets just say that I can barely last an hour in them, they cut the back of my feet and theyre too big! But that colour...
T-shirt; Penneys/Primark
Leggings- ^^
Bracelet- Pandora
Shoes- Doc Martens
Lipstick; Kate Moss for Rimmel
What do you think of my outfit? Leave a comment below!

Hey everyone,
I'm back with another Wednesday Wishlist! it's been a while, so I definitely think this will be a monthly wishlist on my blog with items I'm currently coveting and lusting after. I currently use Rimmel London's berry lipstick in 107, but I'm desperate for a new one, and this MAC one looks amazing! I've also finally caught the Michael Kors bag bug- this black studded one is so sleek and sophisticated. Another brand that's been all over the blog-o-sphere lately has been Origins skincare. I'm ashamed to say I have yet to try anything by them! I really need a new face wash, as I find my current Avon one is a bit too harsh on the skin. You may notice an item similar to my previous Wednesday Wishlist.. Yep, you guessed it, more cut-out boots. Ok, I'll admit, I have a small obsession. These will definitely be on my Christmas List, I need to start saving quick! Last but not least, I'm still hoping for an iPhone. My Nokia [don't laugh] is almost 5 years old, can you believe it? I use my iPod much more than my phone anyways! I spotted this iPhone case on Ciara's blog and it's just too cute.
Like anything? What have you been wanting for this month?
-Rachel x
P.S- I have this post scheduled for Wednesday as by the time you see this post, I'll be *hopefully* celebrating my Junior Cert [state exams] results! Wish me luck!
