Hey everyone,

Today's post is a quick one but informative all the same! I'm trying to branch out on my blog by covering different topics, and I'm also a huge foodie [who isnt?!] so when I was recently asked to write about my thoughts on just-eat.ie* I jumped at the chance. Just Eat* is a website that allows you to order takeaway food online, for those of you who don't know! It's particularly useful for those who don't like making phone calls *cough, me* and want to order food from the comfort of their laptop or mobile.

The website is so easy to use! First, you have to sign up and make an account. To order food, you simply type in your location, and a list of participating takeaways and restaurants in your area come up. You can browse the menu's in detail, and add your dishes to your cart like you would with online shopping.
Perhaps it was just the restaurant I ordered from, but the food appeared to arrive quicker than usual, which was an added bonus!

You can order food from them here: just-eat.ie* or download the mobile app.
Have you ever ordered food online? Are you a 'foodie' like me?

Hey everyone,

I was recently invited by the Jack & Jill Foundation to their charity boutique in Newbridge as a guest speaker at the launch of their loyalty card. I was honored to be asked, as it was my first time speaking at an event and styling. Although I admit I was slightly nervous, the crowd wasn't too big and the staff made me feel at ease. I simply chose 2 outfits from the store, and described why I chose them etc! The Jack & Jill Charity Boutique stocks high quality items for insanely low prices, so I highly recommend popping in if you're in the area.

For the event I decided to keep my outfit comfortable but still on trend, so I chose these amazing printed trousers from Penneys, paired with my New Look blouse to compliment the blue in the trousers. I wrote an in depth post on the printed trousers trend here if you want to have a read!

 Hey everyone,

My grandmother recently went to Canada and she came back with this polish from Sephora as a gift. I've only ever tried 2 Nails Inc polishes before, and I really liked them! I was super excited to give this gel effect version a go, as I love the Barry M Gelly polishes. I received the shade 'lexington gardens' which is a lovely lavender shade- perfect for Summer!

The polish has a really nice consistency- neither too thick or too thin, and the brush is a decent size. I adore the packaging, as it looks very sleek, but it can be quite awkward when holding the rectangle brush in your hand! It applied very opaque, and I went with two coats for maximum longevity. I've had this polish on for 3 days now, and other than some minimal chipping at the top of my nails they're still in perfect condition!

Price wise, it is a bit steep at €18 but it's definitely worth it. If you're working in a job that requires using your hands a lot, or it you want long lasting nails, then this polish is definitely for you! As you can see from the images, my nails extremely shiny- the look of a Gel manicure without the full commitment

You can buy Nails Inc online here

I mightn't be posting as regularly this week, as my little sister [and blog photographer] is currently undergoing serious spinal surgery and things are a bit hectic here. Wishing you all the best Sarah, the bravest girl I know!

Hey everyone,

After a quick stay down to my grans a few days ago, I'm feel quite refreshed and inspired. It's nice to get out of town for a change of scenery! Next week is going to be quite hectic for different reasons, so I'm taking it easy at the moment. I bought this beautiful skirt in Topshop on sale for €10, and I adore it.  Flowy, printed skirts are becoming a firm favourite of mine. They just sit lovely on my body and are super cooling and comfortable too!

I paired it with a simple chiffon top from New Look and a leather jacket, as although it was warm it was certainly breezy.

Hey everyone,
I recently attended an Antiques & More fair in the Celbridge Manor Hotel. Although it was a small event, I love having an excuse to dress up! I finally managed to attempt victory rolls in my hair, after countless methods and failures. I wore my Om Diva vintage dress again, and kept accessories minimal. I picked up a book for my history project and also a gorgeous purple ring, which I can't wait to wear!

Makeup;
foundation: vichy dermablend [15 opal]*
eyeliner: rimmel exaggerate eyeliner
lipstick: kate for rimmel [shade 01]
mascara: lancome hypnose
concealer: seventeen stay time concealer
eyebrows: gosh brow kit*
