'Me time' is something I believe everyone should have, but it's something I haven't had enough of lately. After coming home last night after a busy week interning, I just felt quite drained and overwhelmed. So I did something for myself- I had a relaxing bath, had a Skype catch up with Zoë and just let myself relax. Our lives can get so busy and jumbled without us noticing. Our heads are constantly filled with reminders and notes and ideas. I truly believe that having some down time can really make a difference to your week!
This outfit was shot in Lisbon last week, back when I was dying from the heat and slightly too sunburnt. Although I actually hate extreme heat, these pictures are really making me want to go back! This outfit is quite simple, for me anyway. No accessories, just a pair of dungarees and a slightly sweaty looking hairstyle. In others words- minimal.

A good friend of mine, Lisa, has recently set up her own blog so we figured it was time so shoot something together whilst out and about. I also have some exciting news (for me anyways)! I've gotten a new camera as my Christmas present this year- the Nikon D3200. I kinda opened it as soon as I got home.. but nonetheless, I can't wait to have better quality photos and maybe create a YouTube video or two!

It was one of those days where I had absolutely no clue what to wear, so dug out this blazer from my mam's wardrobe and coordinated an outfit around it! I thought the cocktails sign was quite fitting as it matched my look, so of course, I just had to pose in front of it. That's the life of a blogger for you!

You might recognise some of the pieces I'm wearing from my latest haul here, and it just shows that you don't need a lot of money to look or feel good. I'm all about bargain hunting! I'm currently writing this post with wet nails, which probably isn't the best of ideas.. Speaking of nails, I haven't really been feeling the 'beauty blog vibes' lately. I find a lot of them quite repetitive to read and prefer writing fashion posts! Yesterday I attended Sam & Nic from Pixiwoo's meet and greet- it was so much fun! The girls are just as beautiful in person as they are on screen, and super easy to talk to too. It was surreal to meet two of my favourite beauty youtubers, whom I've been watching for ages! My friend Lisa from Grab Life By The Blog [check out her blog, it's only new - please!] took these shots for me. There are some gorgeous locations in Dublin City Centre, and Temple bar is a favourite of mine. It will always be one of my most loved cities, without doubt.
This is the first outfit I've worn this month that has truly made it feel like Autumn is approaching. Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons, only because of the fashion! There's just something about A/W clothes that set my heart racing with excitement.
I was really inspired by Tara from tarmartales.com & Kildare Village's video for their #DayTripToChic campaign. The campaign video was based in Dublin & Kildare- the two counties I base myself between! It's all about finding a secret escape from the busy Summer life. For my first entry, I chose Temple Bar as it's my favourite area for vintage shopping, rather than the big shopping centres! You can check out their campaign video here:
